acneWhat causes acne in our bodies?

Unfortunately it is unknown why some people have acne and why others do not, but if you know that is partly hereditary.

Are known various factors related to acne and these include:

* Too much hormonal activity, such as puberty, menstrual cycles in women.
* The stress generated by the discharge of the adrenal glands.
* Overactive sebaceous glands
* Great accumulation of dead skin cells.
* Some bacteria tucked inside the pores, to which the body becomes allergic.
* The use of anabolic.
* Skin irritation or scratching simply activate inflammation.
* Some medications containing halogens, lithium, barbiturates or androgens.
* Exposure to high levels of chlorine compounds.

In particular, chlorine dioxide, can cause permanent acne known as chloracne.

Generally what you think in society through a tradition, attention has focused specifically on the overproduction of seborrhea hormonal factor or contributing cause of acne. But recently, more attention has been paid to narrowing of the follicle channel as a second contributing factor. The shedding of abnormal cells in the follicle, abnormal cell connected between the follicle and water retention in the skin have been marked up as important mechanisms. It has been has been associated with multiple hormone overproduction with acne:

* The male hormone testosterone
* The dihydrotestosterone (DHT)
* Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS)
* The insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-I).

What’s more, it has been shown that acne-prone skin is resistant to insulin.

The growth of acne vulgaris in our bodies is common in puberty, although this is a time of Rosacea which may look very similar. True acne vulgaris in older adults, may be characteristic of an underlying condition such as when a woman is pregnant and disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome or the rare Cushing’s syndrome.
